The LLB Group's business model is broadly diversified and aligned with our traditional strengths such as security, stability and closeness to clients.

Our strategy is based on three pillars:

  • consolidation of the Liechtenstein home market
  • expanded activities in Switzerland
  • development of new markets

The Board of Directors of the LLB Group reviews the strategy regularly for fitness of purpose. The effectiveness and validity of this approach can be seen in the results attained. Since the decision to realise our three-pillar strategy in 2004, we have consistently made progress. Thanks to our strong capital base, we were able again to exploit available growth opportunities efficiently in 2009. Our business result shows that we were able to position ourselves well in this demanding environment. These facts strengthen our determination to continue pursuing our defined strategy.

Besides consolidating our leading position in our Liechtenstein home market, in future we shall concentrate more on expanding our activities in Switzerland and in opening up new markets.
