New staff members take part in our introductory programme «Welcome to the LLB». Within the context of this introductory course, which was again expanded in 2009, they receive extensive information about our bank and our corporate structure.
Staff appraisal meetings are of cardinal importance for personnel development and they form the basis for many decisions and measures. Accordingly, a workshop was held, aimed at new senior executives, which dealt in detail with the subject of staff discussions and performance appraisal issues.
In the year under report, the following courses were provided for our client advisors:
- «Personal banking in perfection» advisory process
- Recommendation marketing
- Financial planning training cycle
- Update – due diligence obligations
- «Legal fitness» – a course dealing with current legal issues
One of the key points of our training strategy is to promote young talented employees and retain them for our company. As part of our efforts in this direction, for the last six years we have offered our employees the possibility of formulating and managing their own training requirements within the scope of our «Competence Trampoline» programme.
In 2009, over 170 LLB Group employees were involved in the introduction of the new IT platform based on the «Avaloq» core banking system. All our business processes and the respective IT applications were redefined by key business users. These specialists represent the banks concerned and incorporate the requirements of client advisory services in the project. In addition, they prepare «Avaloq» user training courses within the LLB Group. In the year under report, the staff of Bank Linth took part in an intensive e-learning programme and practical training courses in order to be ready for the planned 2.7 release of the banking software on 1 January 2010.
