The well-being of our staff is of vital importance to us. Therefore we attach great value to health management within the company. In 2010, we are launching an innovative and personalised preventative health concept. At the same time, we are striving to extend the existing range of possibilities.
Our Sport and Hobby Club encourages numerous activities such as skiing, Nordic walking, football and bowling. The activities are free or are offered at reduced prices.
Corresponding work safety guidelines are contained in an overall bank directive. An internal emergency plan has been formulated in the event of a disaster or crisis. Trained staff are available to deal with fires or to provide first aid.
Back in 2008, we formulated a crisis plan in order to be able to react quickly in the event of an influenza pandemic. After identifying the critical business processes, a contingency plan was put in place in the event of a large portion of our staff being unfit for work.
On the basis of this plan, various preventative measures were implemented in connection with the H1N1 influenza pandemic. In addition to the procurement of protective equipment, the emphasis was placed on training senior executives and other key personnel. We also kept our staff informed about the spread of the illness and about protective hygiene measures.
Reducing personnel risks
During the previous year, we reviewed our entire personnel processes and introduced various measures to improve security. For example, further criteria were added to the catalogue of requirements for job candidate clearing at the parent bank. In 2009, these standards were extended to the Group companies in order to further reduce personnel risks.
